Terms of use

What FutCapitalist is
An idle football game that runs in the browser, free, made in Brazil by the futgibi project. Playing means accepting these terms; if something here does not sit right with you, the right path is not using the game and talking to us through the @futgibi profile on social networks.
Game currency is make-believe
All money, fans, trophies and items in FutCapitalist are fictional, have no real-world value and cannot be sold, traded or redeemed outside the game.
Your progress lives on your device
The game works without an account, and the save lives in the browser storage. That has a price we prefer to state in large print: clearing the site data, switching browsers or devices erases the progress, and we cannot recover it. An optional account with cloud save is on the game's roadmap precisely to solve this.
Ads
The game may offer rewards in exchange for watching an ad. Watching is always your choice: no part of the game is locked behind ads. Ads are served by Google and follow our privacy policy.
Fair play
The game runs entirely on your device, so technically the save can be tampered with. In solo mode that is between you and your conscience; once leaderboards and player-versus-player competition exist, tampering with data that enters those disputes may lead to exclusion from them.
Intellectual property
The brand, art, texts and code of FutCapitalist belong to the project. Teams, players and clubs in the game are fictional; any resemblance to real football is a fan's homage, not affiliation.
Warranties and changes
The game is offered as is, with no availability guarantee, and evolves all the time: game rules, economy and content may change, always with the intent of preserving players' progress (it is the house's rule number one). These terms may be updated; the date at the top tells the current version. Brazilian law applies.
